How to Become a Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM)

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) was established in the year of 1970 by a Parliament Act. This is the professional institute of Sri Lankan Marketer and this professional institute also got contact with another professional marketing institute worldwide. There are five types of membership categories available for Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and they are as follows.

Fellow Member
Ordinary Member

How to Get Associate Membership of SLIM Sri Lanka

Those who are wishing to obtain Associate Membership of SLIM need to obtain one of following requirements

Obtain a recognized marketing qualification and don not have three years experience in Marketing.
Obtain a recognized university degree or an equivalent professional qualification plus three years of experience in marketing.
Obtain Five years experience in Marketing.

Those who are qualified as Associate Membership of SLIM can identify by the designation letters AMSLIM.

SLIM Certified Membership

Those who are wishing to obtain Certified Membership in slim home Sri Lanka Institute of marketing Colombo can obtain by those who have more than ten years of continuous senior Marketing Management Experience.

Obtain Masters degree from a recognized university and have five years of experience in senior marketing management.

Those who are qualified as Associate Membership of SLIM can identify by the designation letters CMSLIM.

SLIM Ordinary Member

Those who obtain recognized marketing qualification and have at least three years of experience in marketing management or marketing equation can get the Ordinary Membership of SLIM.

Those who are qualified as Associate Membership of SLIM can identify by the designator letters MSLIM.

SLIM Fellow Member

Only the ordinary members who obtain over seven years of senior management experience which accept by the executive committee of SLIM can obtain Fellow membership of SLIM.

Those who are qualified as Associate Membership of SLIM can identify by the designation letters FMSLIM.
