(a) Must have passed the Sri Lankan GCE (A/L) examination using two Credit Passes and one simple pass in the same sitting; AND
(b) Must have obtained Credit Passes over English Language and Sinhala or Tamil Language at the Sri Lanka GCE (O/L) examination or N.C.G.E. Examination; AND
(c) Applicants must be seventeen (17) years old by the dates that applications are due.
For LLB Graduates
If you have an LLB from a recognized state or foreign university, you will not have to take any application exams to get in. As of December 2020, LLB graduates will also need to take a Special Entrance Examination in order to get in. This is what Extraordinary Gazette Number 2208/13 from December 30, 2020 says.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is conducted under the department of legal studies at Sri Lanka open university. Duration for this undergraduate degree programme is 4 years to complete this LLB degree at Sri Lanka.
